It’s another jam-packed year for Headwaters Country Jam, Montana’s biggest annual country music festival celebrating all things country. Since 2008, it has set up camp just outside of Three Forks in Cardwell, Montana, a natural outdoor amphitheater near the Jefferson River. In 2019, they had over 20,000 attendees—their biggest so far—and it’s only getting bigger and better.

This year, they’re serving a knockout lineup led by three country stars: Multi-platinum country singers Gary Allan and Jon Pardi and country’s next-big-thing Bailey Zimmerman. And they will be accompanied by Luke Grimes, 49 Winchester, Corey Kent, and more. Last year, they featured stellar headlining performances from Koe Wetzel, Parker McCollum, and Ashley McBryde.

Festival Essentials & Insider Tips

If you haven’t booked your tickets yet, here’s the sign that you should do so. 

You can avail of tickets in three tiers: General Admission (GA), VIP, and Luxury Suite. For GA, there’s a 3-day package ($175), with discounted prices for military ($165) and students ($155), which can only be claimed via a Will Call pick up. If you only want to attend specific days, you can opt for the single-day passes ($99). For VIP, only 3-day tickets ($395) are available. And for the highest tier, you can get it for three days ($595) or a single day ($239). Ages 10 and younger are free and must be accompanied by an adult with a paid admission ticket

For accommodations, you can go for either camping or glamping. Camping’s almost all sold out. Only Standard ($175) is left. Note that only one (1) steering mechanism and one (1) sleeping unit are allowed per campsite. The site is pr𝐢mitive with no water or electric hook-ups, but generators are allowed. But if you want the premium experience, you can always go glamping: Single Bed Tent with AC ($1,950) and
Double Bed Tent with AC ($2,250).

Last but not least, remember to reserve parking: Weekend Parking ($75), Single-day Parking ($35), ADA Parking ($75), and Companion Parking ($80).
