Walker Hayes’ “Fancy Like” dance challenge with his oldest daughter Lela took over TikTok quicker than lightning and more powerful than a hurricane. After posting their dance video last June, it has now raked over 33.4 million views and earned nearly 2.5 million hearts. And of course, country music fans all over the globe had to join in the fun. Now, the #fancylike dance challenge has thousands of entries on TikTok alone, with a total of 767 million views!
Some of those who showcased their moves with the hashtag are LA-based dancer and teacher Sam Allen who did not shy away from making his sexy moves along with the song, actress Candace Cameron Bure who even lipsynched while she danced, and probably one of the best entries – the staffs and penguins in SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium. Though, training penguins to dance along was definitely harder than it looks. The rest of the Hayes family also made their official entry to the dance challenge while wearing their dad’s newest shirt merchandise!

Since then, the video also spread like wildfire across different social media platforms like Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram. It even caught the attention of Applebee that the song got featured in their commercials. Walker Hayes credits Lela for the killer dance moves and deservingly so with the overwhelming response to their father-daughter dance-off.
