Chris Stapleton kicked off the 2024 Grammy Awards on a winning streak – even before the official televised ceremony.

Chris Stapleton celebrated an early victory at the Premier Ceremony on Sunday afternoon (February 4) when his chart-topping hit, “White Horse,” took home two awards: Best Country Solo Performance and Best Country Song.

Regrettably, Stapleton couldn’t join the Grammy Premiere Ceremony to receive the awards in person. Fellow Grammy Award-winning artist Carly Pearce, the presenter for Best Country Solo Performance, accepted the award on his behalf. He won the category over a strong list of contenders, which included Dolly Parton for “The Last Thing on My Mind” and Luke Combs for “Fast Car,” among others.

Meanwhile, the Grammy for Best Country Song goes to the songwriters. So, even though Stapleton couldn’t be there to get his award, his co-writer Dan Wilson went on stage to accept it.

“My biggest thanks is to Chris for writing songs with me,” said Dan Wilson, who also expressed his gratitude to his family and his team.

“White Horse” won the category against “Last Night” by Morgan Wallen, “In Your Love” by Tyler Childers), “I Remember Everything” by Zach Bryan featuring Kacey Musgraves and “Buried” by Brandy Clark.

Chris Stapleton Is Now A 10-time Grammy Award Winner.

With Chris Stapleton winning Best Country Solo Performance and Best Country Song, he is now a 10-time Grammy Award winner. This makes him part of an esteemed group of artists with ten or more Grammy wins.

In addition to that, Stapleton also received a nod in the category of Best Country Duo/Group Performance for “We Don’t Fight Anymore,” where he was a featured artist by Carly Pearce. The two lost to Zach Bryan and Kacey Musgraves’ “I Remember Everything.”

Sending our congratulations to Chris Stapleton on his significant victories at the 2024 Grammy Awards! His talent and commitment have genuinely stood out.
