Billy Ray Cyrus is packing up his boots, guitar, and whatever magic dust keeps this thing alive because he’s heading to England to help Elizabeth Hurley ring on her 60th birthday.

Yes, that Elizabeth Hurley. British acting royalty, model, tabloid legend, still out here looking like a Bond girl in her sixth decade. And yes, that Billy Ray Cyrus. Country singer. Achy-breaky heartbreaker. Miley’s dad. And apparently, the man she’ll be toasting with when she hits the big 6-0 on June 10.

In a move no one had on their 2025 bingo card, Liz confirmed to HELLO that Billy Ray would fly across the pond for her milestone bash. “He should be in England for my birthday. He’ll be meeting my family and my dogs, and hopefully, it’ll be lovely,” she said.

There’s something deeply chaotic about the phrase “meeting my dogs” being placed right next to “my family,” but that’s what makes this pairing so perfect. She’s glam. He’s grit. She hosts multi-million-dollar galas in fuchsia gowns. He wears jeans and a khaki shirt while kissing her on forest trails and captioning it with a single red heart. Somehow, it works.

Their whole thing started back in 2022 on the set of Christmas in Paradise, which apparently delivered more than just cheesy lines. “We just laughed, and it was at a time I wasn’t laughing a lot,” Billy Ray said, coming off his third divorce. It didn’t take long for the laughter to turn into kisses, Instagram posts, and a public rollout of their weirdly magnetic love story.

By April, he was posting photos of the two of them kissing under trees, pairing it with his own song “Missing You.” She was commenting with heart emojis. Her son Damian was liking the posts. Even Elton John’s husband, David Furnish, gave the whole thing his blessing, calling Liz “breathtaking” and saying she’s “one of the world’s greats.” That’s a strong endorsement. And coming from someone who regularly shares brunch with literal royalty, it’s worth noting.

Elizabeth Hurley and Billy Ray Cyrus share a sweet kiss as their whirlwind romance continues to blossom.

Now Billy Ray’s headed to London or the countryside or some private English estate to meet the whole crew and probably sip champagne with Elton, gossip with David, and try not to step in corgi poop. If there’s a more surreal image than Billy Ray Cyrus trying to blend in at a high-society British garden party, we haven’t seen it.

Liz isn’t just leaning into this. She’s throwing the whole spotlight on it. “I love every birthday,” she said. “Especially the big ones. People are even nicer to you. More presents. More flowers. I welcome it.”

Billy Ray better show up with a parade of roses and maybe a new puppy. Because when your girlfriend is hosting record-breaking charity events and hanging with Elton John, the bar is not low.

Whatever this thing is, it’s wild, weird, and absolutely working. And come June, Billy Ray’s gonna be in the thick of it. Celebrating a British icon’s 60th with a Southern drawl, a cowboy hat, and maybe even a new song in his back pocket.

God bless whoever’s filming this because we need to see it.
