Saturday night is a UK exclusive, with American troubadour and King of the Trail, Don McLean, and Sunday’s signing off with Nashville-based multi-platinum recording artist Russell Dickerson.

After the main performance, there’ll be more until the wee hours at the backcountry bar in the woods called Buddy’s, including a stage takeover by Loose Music. And at the Front Porch, there’s another stage takeover with  Ariat, Color Me County with Risse Palmer, and Oh Boy Records.

The festival also boasts a long list of activities, such as The Lucky Dice, Lil’ Possum County camp for the kids, Buddy’s Country Quiz, and Rootin’ Tootin’ Pooch Parade. There are also hot dog eating and hot wing contests, riotous games of dodgeball, and, of course, a good bit of square dancing.

Festival Essentials & Insider Tips

It’s a camping festival so it’s a ticket plus accommodation package deal. You can purchase the classic ticket type General Camping (£200) or upgrade it to Premium (£240). If you plan to sleep in your car, you can take Live-in Vehicle (£200) or do Pitch & Park (£200). If you’re only going just for the day (£79), you can also do so. But if you want to attend all the days but skip the camping, there’s a ticket (£180) for that, too. Upgrade to weekend VIP is available for free for kids aged 5 and under but must come with a paying adult (£88). You can bring your dog, too! Just make sure you read this guide before you do.

Under 16s (15 or under) must be accompanied by an adult aged 18+. There is a maximum of four people aged under 16 per adult. Child tickets are free but must be added to your order for the child to gain admission. As for persons aged 17 or below, organizers highly encourage them to obtain permission from a parent or legal guardian prior to attending. Proof of age (via passport, driving license, or age card with PASS logo) may be required on entry and all bars.

Festivalgoers can travel via railway, taxis, bike, or car and just park at the venue (£25+) or ride the shuttle bus (£12+). There’s no bag policy for the event, but everyone’s encouraged to pack light. Once you’re in, if you have a camping ticket, you’re free to go out and about. But for those who only have day tickets and weekend tickets but wouldn’t be camping, there’s no re-entry. Another thing, the venue is outdoors on a green field site, so make sure you’re wearing sensible shoes.
