A 17-year-old girl from Massachusetts recently made a name for herself thanks to the social networking site TikTok. The singer/songwriter Georgia Webster caught the attention of millions with her catchy pop-country hit. The world was introduced to “Tell Your Mom” in Webster’s bathroom and immediately racked up 2 million views in just a few days.

“Tell Your Mom” goes from a song recorded in a teenage girl’s bathroom to a viral Tiktok video and now has a Taylor Swift like a music video.

Not Rock, Not Pop, But Country!

Webster’s viral video did not only catch the attention of music fans around the globe, but it also tickled the ears of some pop and rock labels from New York and L.A. Nonetheless, Webster was not fazed by all the attention she was getting and decided to turn to her roots and explore what Nashville could offer her.

For Webster, going on the country route was an easy choice. Since her early years as a young songwriter, Webster has been writing songs. Country music was the best fit for her because she has always loved Country music and the honesty that each song has reflecting real issues and real people.

Songwriter/producer Paul DiGiovanni, who was known for his works with Sam Hunt, Lauren Alaina, Jordan Davis and Dan + Shay, joined Webster to create a wonderful studio recording of “Tell Your Mom.”

Watch Out for Georgia Webster Could be the Next Taylor Swift

You should not sleep on Georgia Webster for she definitely deserves the attention of many. Out now, Webster’s studio recording of her viral “Tell Your Mom” original will definitely give you some flashbacks of the early Taylor Swift videos. The expertly crafted pop-country production just made Webster’s acoustic bathroom performance to another level.

Lyrically, “Tell Your Mom” is Practical

“Tell Your Mom” by Georgia Webster will tell you a real story of how a person deals with a break-up. When you just don’t say goodbye to the person you’ve loved for a very long time, but would also need to say goodbye to his family, as well.

For Webster, the experiences she had in her life and dealing with such circumstances helped her write and deliver the song in such a way it becomes so relatable to everyone.
