Chris Stapleton makes the sweetest gesture ever! He invites his fan, a little girl from Lincoln County, West Virginia backstage to fulfill her dreams – meeting her hero.

Her name is Ivy, and she is already privy to play guitar and sing. Gina Lucas is candid about how Stapleton has made an impact on her daughter’s life.

“With having down syndrome, her speech isn’t always great. But when she sings Chris Stapleton songs, she can sing every word he says, she says them right, and she knows what she is saying.”

The country superstar is set to make a stop at Ivy’s hometown this summer, and she is making sure that she is going to go there to see it.

“Not everything she does will be easy. People are gonna judge her, but when she sings……. everything else disappears, and she is just Ivy.”

Gina Lucas’ touching admission about her daughter’s case touched many hearts. And, she has already made it clear that their goal was to let Ivy meet him:

“Our goal is to let her meet and greet him… that would be the best thing in the world for her. If she could say hi or string a guitar for him, it would make her life.”

And, good news! After Chris Stapleton’s team saw the news feature of Ivy on a local news channel who covered the story first, they’ve decided to invite the little country fan backstage to meet her hero.

Stapleton’s Good Deeds

Stapleton’s good deed doesn’t stop there. Last year, he and his wife Morgane Stapleton have introduced a new charitable organization that is designed to benefit an array of worthy endeavors.

The charity is named “Outlaw State of Mind” and it is described as a “fund that supports a variety of causes close to the heart.”

The power couple noted their intentions about the charity:

“We look forward to using this platform as a way to shine a light on the organizations OSOK supports.”

Keep doing good, Chris!
