On Sunday (February 25), only a day before the Season 25 premiere of NBC’s The Voice, Reba McEntire took to social media to reassure fans and to set the record straight that her stint in the singing competition is not ending anytime soon.

The country music icon addressed false information circulated by certain websites – claiming that she is leaving her coaching role on The Voice – and dispelled rumors that behind-the-scenes tensions are causing her departure from the singing competition show.

“Please do not click on any articles that say I am leaving ‘The Voice.’ This is not true,” Reba McEntire wrote on Instagram alongside a screenshot of one of these fake websites. In the photo, it can be seen that the website emperorsland.pro published a misleading headline, suggesting that McEntire confirmed her departure from The Voice after an accidental on-air confession. The word “False” was then written in bold red letters across the entire article.

In addition to presenting incorrect details about her role as a coach on NBC‘s The Voice, the “Fancy” singer revealed that these sites are also spreading false claims that she is endorsing and selling weight loss gummy products.

“I do not sell or promote any type of gummy product,” the country singer added.

McEntire ended her post by asking everyone to report these kinds of posts whenever they appear on any social media sites.

Well, fans are truly relieved to hear that The Voice‘s resident country queen isn’t going anywhere. It was in May 2023 when Reba McEntire joined the show as a coach, replacing the departing Blake Shelton – and we’re about to see more of her. So, stay tuned for more updates.
