One of TV’s most sought after awards show is back. And this time, it’s kid approved.
The nominees for the Nickelodeon’s Kids Choice Awards are finally in. With categories that spread across television, movies, music, and social media platforms, the KCA handpicked what the kids want.
The 2019 Nickelodeon’s Kids Choice Awards
The slime-filled awards show has drafted their pick, and Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Dan + Shay, Kane Brown, and Blake Shelton have made the cut.
Leading into two categories, Bryan has been nominated for favorite male artist and favorite TV judge for American Idol together with Lionel Richie and Katy Perry. Shelton, along with his The Voice co-coaches have also been nominated for the blimp for favorite TV judge too.
Both Dan + Shay and Kane Brown have been nominated for Favorite Breakout Artist. While FLG’s collaboration with Bebe Rexha could snag the blimp for Favorite Collaboration for “Meant to Be.”
DJ Khaled, the designated host for the night, is also set to take hope three orange blimps for himself. He has collaborated and produced many good bops, including favorite male artist and favorite collaboration for “No Brainer,” featuring Justin Bieber, Quavo, and Chance the Rapper.
The awards show seemed to continue the trend in recent years by expanding the fan-voted categories. New for this year are Favorite TV Host, Favorite TV Judges, Favorite Superhero, and Favorite Gamer.
Kids will also get the chance of voting for how they want to better help the world in a brand new category entitled “How Do You Want to Help?”
