Only Lauren Alaina can accidentally wear two different boots to a concert and still steal the whole damn show.

Nothing screams country chaos quite like realizing you are wearing two different boots moments before hitting the stage, and Lauren Alaina handled it like the badass new mama she is.

The Georgia native and “Road Less Traveled” hitmaker recently had a hilariously relatable mom moment during a tour stop in Ohio. As she got ready to take the stage with her “All My Exes” duet partner Chase Matthew, she glanced down and discovered she had slipped on one black boot and one brown boot. Both were cute. Both were stylish. But together? Well, let’s just say it was not the match she had intended.

In true Lauren Alaina fashion, she laughed it off like a pro, filming the whole ordeal for Instagram and asking fans which boot she should actually wear. “I was trying to decide between the two boots,” she explained between bursts of laughter, “and I forgot to put on the matching one.” She even recalled her friend Molly’s parting words from the hotel: “Whatever you do, don’t forget to put the other shoe on.” Oops.

Chase Matthew could not help but poke fun at the situation, teasing, “This can’t be real. Merry Christmas! Oh my God.” He added, “I think it’s cool. We call that aftermarket.” Then, like a true road dog, he delivered the final blow: “She’s full-blown mom today.”

And honestly? He is not wrong. Lauren Alaina has been living the real-deal mom life since she and her husband, Cam Arnold, welcomed their baby girl, Beni Doll, in June. The singer opened up about the life-changing experience, sharing how that first moment holding her daughter unlocked parts of her heart she never knew existed. “I will never be the same,” she wrote on Instagram, calling Beni “absolute perfection.”

But while some new moms ease into things, Lauren jumped right back into the spotlight with grit and grace. Just five months after giving birth, she hit the red carpet at the 2025 CMA Awards in a shattered-glass mirror gown that turned heads and sent a powerful message. “My daughter’s favorite thing to do is look in the mirror,” Lauren shared. “Seeing her smile at herself and be in awe of our reflections has changed everything about the way I see myself. I hope she is always that happy when she looks in the mirror. I am trying to be more like her.”

She has also been open about the highs and lows of postpartum life, revealing that she has already been mom-shamed but is choosing to rise above it. That kind of strength? That is pure country toughness wrapped in rhinestones and real talk.

Back on the road, she and Chase Matthew are tearing up the stage with their duet “All My Exes,” and the chemistry is electric. Fans are loving the show, and now they are loving the behind-the-scenes laughs even more. Let’s be real, showing up to perform with mismatched boots just makes Lauren even more lovable. It is authentic. It is unfiltered. It is country.

So next time you are running late or feeling frazzled, just remember Lauren Alaina went viral for accidentally rocking two different boots, and still delivered a killer show. That is how you turn a wardrobe fail into a full-blown win.
