Kris Kristofferson and Lisa Meyers’ children have definitely proved that they are their parents’ children, carving their own paths and making a name for themselves that was more than just their surname. And now that their legendary country musician father has finally retired, will there be anyone who will step out to continue his legacy?

Well, we don’t know about that. But for now, let’s get to know more about who they are and what they’re up to!

Jesse Kristofferson

Born on October 7, 1983, Jesse was the first son and child of the couple together (but counting his father’s children from previous marriages, Jesse is already the third son). He arrived just months after his parents tied the knot in Pepperdine University Chapel. And just like his father, Jesse made his way into acting, appearing in popular films and TV shows.

His very first unofficial acting credit was back in high school when he worked as an extra alongside his father in Tim Burton’s Planet of the Apes. Jesse also acted in Melrose Place in 2010, Days of Our Lives in 2012, and then a year later in Range Junkies. His role as Neil in Days of Our Lives actually made daytime soap history with his same-sex kiss scene with actor Chandler Massey who played Will in the show.

According to IMDB, Jesse was also a Western Qualifier Middleweight Champion in Scientific Wrestling’s ‘King Of Catch Wrestling.‘ He is currently living in Los Angeles, California, and will soon be turning 38!

Jody Kristofferson

Three years later, on May 21, 1985, Jesse finally got a sibling with Jody. And out of Kris Kristofferson’s children, he is probably the most popular and the most interesting. Why? Because unlike his father and other siblings, Jody decided to pursue a career in professional wrestling. Not only that, but he also decided to drop the name and was known inside the ring as Garrett Dylan. According to many who knew him, he never really introduced himself or made himself known as the son of Kris Kristofferson

He spent four years on the independent circuit working in California-based promotions before finally debuting in WWE under the ring name Jody Reese on August 10, 2010, during Friday Night Smackdown. He changed his name to Garrett Dylan two years later when he joined WWE’s training roster for the Florida Championship Wrestling. He worked with WWE until 2014 and then went back to wrestling on the independent circuit under his real name until his exit in 2017.

During his career, Jody earned four championships with three different singles titles as well as one tag team title.

Johnny Robert Kristofferson

Third of Lisa Meyers‘ children, Johnny Robert Kristofferson, was born in 1988. And unlike his father, he didn’t enjoy the glitz and the glamour and went on to follow his mother’s footsteps instead. He attended Pepperdine University just like Lisa and went on to study law. He is currently a practicing attorney based in California.

Kelly Marie Kristofferson

The first and only daughter of the couple, Kelly Marie Kristofferson, arrived just two years after Johnny. Just like her father and older brother Jesse, Kelly ventured into acting, featuring in different movies, including Traded in 2016 and Pimp My Life in 2017. She is also reportedly set to act in the film Little Lamb to be released in 2022 and the mini-series Heartbreak and Other Sharp Things

But aside from acting, she is also a talented singer joining her father on-stage for a performance during Magnolia Fest in Florida in 2013. The father-daughter duo sang his song “The Wonder.”

Kelly is currently married to Aydin Hamami, and the couple just celebrated their third wedding anniversary last February.

Blake Cameron Kristofferson

Completing Kris Kristofferson and Lisa Meyers‘ children is their youngest child and son Blake Cameron. Unlike his other siblings, the now 27-year-old Blake has remained away from the spotlight and lived a quiet life. He also reportedly earned a degree from Pepperdine University, where his mom Lisa and brother Johnny also graduated.
