Jason Aldean and wife Brittany’s fairy tale marriage just turned seven last 2021, and the couple is looking happier and their relationship stronger than ever. It is no wonder that the three-time ACM Entertainer of the Year is living his best life, from his career to his love and family.

While the start of their love story was filled with controversies and hate thrown at them, Jason Aldean and Brittany Kerr used those to fuel their love and turn it into something magical and beautiful.

The First Chapter: From Controversy to Fairy Tale

This pair has grown to be one of the most beloved couples in country music. So, let’s unfold the first chapter of their love story – from the day they first met to the day they finally said, “I do.”

Brittany was not the first to capture Jason’s heart and before her, there was Jessica Ussery. Jason and Jessica were high school sweethearts turned husband-and-wife. The pair married in August 2001 and were blessed with two daughters named Keeley (born 2003) and Kendyl (born 2007).

It was September 2012 when Brittany and Jason first met, and things didn’t start out well for them. During that time, the award-winning singer was married to his wife of 11 years, Jessica, when he was photographed getting cozy with Brittany, a Charlotte Bobcats cheerleader, at The Den on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood.

Negative headlines about them were quick to dominate the news, and their photo was soon plastered all over the internet. After receiving heavy backlash, Jason posted an apology on Facebook, writing that he had too much to drink and he let the party get out of hand. He admitted acting inappropriately at the bar and also confessed that he screwed up. But he clarified that he left alone and caught a bus to his next show, and that was the end of the story.

On the other hand, Brittany also issued her own statement calling what has transpired a “lapse in judgement.”

In April of 2013, six months after the issue, Jason filed for divorce, citing the couple’s irreconcilable differences. And in March 2014, Jason and Brittany publicly announced that they were dating, which earned them significant backlash from fans. But instead of engaging with the hate, Jason just acknowledged his supporters, writing how his mistakes made him a better person and adding that he was happier than he had ever been.

The couple walked their first red carpet together at the 2014 CMT Music Awards and since then, they have been seen all over each other’s Instagram feeds. And in September 2014, the two finally got engaged.

Last March 21, 2015, Jason and Brittany said their vows to each other in a fairy tale wedding at the Mahekal Beach Resort in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. They were surrounded by close family and friends.

Who is Jason Aldean’s Wife, Brittany Aldean?

Brittany Aldean, or known before as Brittany Layne Kerr, was born on June 19, 1988 (33 years old) in Charlotte, North Carolina, to parents Donald and Debbie Kerr. She has two siblings, a brother named Hunter and a sister named Kamden.

She attended the University of Alabama, where she graduated with a degree in Human Environmental Science. She tried out for the University of Alabama cheering squad, but she, unfortunately, didn’t make the cut as she was too tall and lanky for their style. In 2010, she entered the Victoria’s Secret Model Search contest and placed in the top 80.

A year later, she landed a spot as an NBA cheerleader with the Charlotte Bobcats. Finally, she auditioned for American Idol Season 11 in 2012, performing Joss Stone’s “Spoiled,” earning her 2 yeses. Her road ended at the Hollywood Round, but it did get her many other opportunities in the industry.

Now, she is one of the top Nashville-based make-up artists with her own clothing line. In 2021, she has an estimated net worth of $10 million and is also reportedly entitled to Jason’s $80 million fortune.

Brittany is also an animal lover and a first-degree black belt.

The Second Chapter: Building Their Own Family

The newlyweds were so excited to grow a family of their own, and they did not waste any time. But unfortunately, Brittany had troubles trying to conceive naturally. So after a year and a half of trying, they had a visit with the doctor, where she was diagnosed with endometriosis. They performed a laparoscopy on her, and she was able to finally conceive their first child through in-vitro fertilization (IVF).

A few weeks after revealing that they were expecting their first child in May 2017, the couple announced that it was a baby boy. But when Brittany was 30 weeks through her pregnancy, she almost lost her life and the baby’s. Then, during Jason’s set at Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas, a gunman opened fire, killing 58 people. The shooting left the couple traumatized.

Jason and Brittany welcomed their first child, Memphis, on December 1, 2017.

After having Memphis, the couple knew they wanted two kids. In an interview with People, Jason said that he already had two daughters. And they wanted Memphis to have a younger sibling pretty quick, one that he could knock it out with and was a little closer in age to him.

On July 10, 2018, the Aldeans announced that they were expecting their second child. A month later, they revealed that it was a baby girl. Brittany gave birth to Navy Rome on February 4, 2019.

The Third Chapter: Livin’ the Life

As busy as Jason was with her career working on his 10th full-length album that his fans should definitely watch out for, he was also busy building the best life for his family. Jason and Brittany had been working on their dream home for the last two years, and in June 2020, it was finally complete!

Their massive dream home is located just outside Nashville, and the couple was not shy to share their “forever home” with fans. The new Aldean home was like a small castle featuring a long driveway, a large fountain on the front lawn, and acres of lush green grass.

Brittany also shared photos of their modern master bedroom, the kitchen, as well as the kids’ room. And of course, every lady’s dream, her two-story walk-in closet filled with bags and shoes that even needed a ladder to reach, and her office.

The mansion also has a bowling alley which is perfect for entertainment. And in their backyard is what looks like a water park with a large swimming pool complete with a lazy river, waterfall, and even a tv screen that appears from inside a rock.

And there’s more. They also have a tiki bar, thatched cabana, a koi pond, a basketball court, and a lot of palm trees. Jason Aldean’s children, Memphis (3) and Navy (2), are surely living their life in their new mansion.

Jason Aldean and wife Brittany have truly made all of their dreams come true. Their love story started with a controversy, but it ended happily ever after, just like every fairytale in the book.
