Bunnie XO finally talked. And the first thing she told the world is that the divorce didn’t stop the baby.
On the June 18 episode of her D𝐮mb Blonde podcast, Bunnie addressed the split from Jelly Roll for the first time since TMZ broke the news three days earlier. “I am so relieved that the f–king news is out, ’cause holy s–t,” she said, explaining it had been “hell” keeping the secret since their May 9 separation.
Then she dropped the line nobody was expecting.
“You guys are going to be shocked to hear this, but we’re still having a baby,” Bunnie said. “We have been the most unconventional couple that you guys have ever encountered.”
Divorced and still planning to co-parent a baby that hasn’t been born yet. For any other couple, that would sound impossible. For Jelly Roll and Bunnie XO, it somehow tracks.
Bunnie XO Revealed They Lost Four Embryos Before the Divorce
The baby news wasn’t all good. Bunnie shared details about the IVF losses that neither she nor Jelly Roll had ever discussed publicly before.
“We lost the two twins that we were going to try to have and then we lost the other two,” she said. “Anybody going through that and has to deal with these miscarriages, it’s gut-wrenching.”
Three unsuccessful embryo transfers. Four embryos gone. And through all of that, they were also watching their marriage fall apart. That’s the part the internet hasn’t been sitting with, because it’s been too busy picking sides and making memes. These two were quietly grieving babies, they never got to meet, while the relationship crumbled underneath them.

Despite everything, Bunnie made it clear that Jelly Roll is still her person, just not her husband.

“That’s my f–king best friend, dude. Like, I love him,” she said. “The most important part here is that everybody’s so hung up on our past and what we built together, which I mean, we did a f–king great job. But our future is so much more important. And being happy and healthy and best friends through this is probably the biggest gift that we could have given each other.”
She Explained Why the Marriage Fell Apart and Said Jelly Roll Is Already Dating
When it came to the actual reason for the divorce, Bunnie didn’t point fingers. She pointed at the silence.
“We just weren’t on the same page. I stopped chasing him,” she said. “J and I have never been really good at having disagreements. So we were the type of couple who never argued, so he would be holding things in, I would be holding things in, and that’s a recipe for disaster.”
A year and a half of not communicating well. No big blowout, no dramatic finale. Just two people slowly going quiet on each other until the distance became permanent.
She also confirmed that Jelly Roll is already dating again, but had no bitterness about it. “I’m not going to say anything about J’s actions,” she said, “because I don’t feel like it’s the right time and I don’t feel like it’s my place.”
That restraint says a lot. Bunnie XO has never been someone who holds back. The fact that she’s choosing to now, after everything they’ve been through publicly, feels like a decision made out of genuine respect for the man she still calls her best friend.
Jelly Roll has yet to address the breakup publicly. He did quietly remove Bunnie’s username from his Instagram bio, replacing the lock, key, and her handle @xomgitsbunnie with two words. “Music Man.”
They lost four embryos, ended a ten-year marriage, and are still planning to bring a baby into the world together. Nobody writes a love story like this because nobody would believe it. But Jelly Roll and Bunnie XO have never been a couple that fit inside anyone’s idea of normal, and apparently, they’re not going to start now.
