Elvis Presley, a superstar that has been adored by fans and looked up to by artists, has released several amazing songs that have been covered by many singers of today and the past.

One of his most well-known songs is arguably “Suspicious Minds”. The song was last performed by Elvis Presley in 1970, yet his legacy endures. In fact, at an Elvis tribute performance in 2019, Blake Shelton, one of the most well-known country music artists today, decided to sing his version of the song.

Even though this is merely a cover, it was nevertheless able to touch many listeners’ hearts despite the fact that many Blake Shelton hit songs were produced for fans to enjoy. Even though Blake Shelton’s version is more upbeat and contemporary than the original due to the addition of a background acapella and the mellow beat provided by the bass guitars and drums, he was still able to get the song’s point across and feels that the original version was able to make listeners feel.

Blake Shelton has a way of delivering each note with such diction and emotion that it creates a whole new experience for the audience. As a result, this is regarded as one of the most iconic cover’s of the song.

Other than ‘Suspicious Minds,’ Blake Shelton also performed other songs by Elvis Presley, such as “Trouble” and “Guitar Man.” Moreover, he wasn’t the only one who served in the said event.

Aside from country singers like Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood, and Little Big Town performing on the show, pop artists such as Post Malone, Johnny Legend, Shawn Mendes, and many more performed.
