The year 2020 didn’t make a good impression on most of us. But if you ask Luke Combs, he has other stories to tell as he describes his time at home as “productive.”

2020 is Adventure Packed

Of course, Luke Combs would still prefer a ‘normal’ year where he can enjoy his time out while touring around and writing songs, but given the circumstances, he still did his best to have a great time and even locked on his relationship with Nicole Hocking through a home-based wedding.

In a recent interview with Luke Combs, he appreciated the little projects he’s been doing inside his house especially the freedom of working around his comfort zone. To him, 2020 is a year he will not remember negatively. Rather, he views it as some kind of an adventure where he got to experience things that we usually cannot experience.

2020 also marks a milestone for the country artist as he got a chance to be married this year to his best friend Nicole Hocking which they did inside their house in August. This made it possible for him to spend quality time with his wife. They also got an opportunity to be married in a church before the annual CMA awarding ceremony, making their union visibly official to the public, their family, and their friends.

Revving for 2021

The 54th CMA ceremony also awarded Luke Combs for the commendable works he’s done for country music this year. His ‘What You See Is What You Get’ won the Album of the Year award while he won the Male Vocalist award of 2020. Aside from these, he also got nominated for several spots and categories in CMA. These include the Entertainer of the Year award, and some of his songs such as “Even Though I’m Leaving,” “Beer Never Broke My Heart,” and “I Hope You’re Happy Now”

With the year 2020 closing, he started revealing his plans for 2021 starting with his most recent and biggest hit-single this year “Lovin’ On You.” Combs recently released its enticing music video which features himself, his band, and his wife Nicole portraying their younger selves.
