In everything that two people do together, be they friends or a couple, always lie a tee-bit of some sort of competition inside. Hot couple Mike Fisher and Carrie Underwood are no exception.

We all know that Mike Fisher was an all-out hunter, specializing in intense fieldwork and being able to eat the ‘hunted’ for a great deal of satisfaction. Deer, or fish, you name it, once it falls to the bait, it’s dinner. In contrast, his wife Carrie Underwood dislikes harming animals, especially now that she devotes herself to veganism.

The Great Outdoors

As restrictions due to coronavirus pandemic and lockdown slowly loosen up, several physical activities become available for the general public. As opportunities become available, husband and wife Mike Fisher and Carrie Underwood decided to go hitch on a water body to fish up some bounty.

While Mike holds pride in being a hunter, his time with his wife severely affected his reputation as he can only fish small ones. To his surprise, his wife caught a rainbow trout which is three times the normal size of the ones he caught on their fishing day.

Carrie Underwood, on the other hand, had a great deal of fun. She had Blake Shelton’s “God’s Country” played in the background and as their soundtrack for their trip to the great outdoors. Her latest achievement of being able to bait such a catch has spread all over her social media account, especially on TikTok.

Once again, their weekend gets filled by fun adventures and they’re indeed one of the most envied couple goals. Despite Mike Fisher and Carrie Underwood’s differences in their perception of the wildlife, it doesn’t hurt once in a while to go out and blow off some steam.

The Pride of a Hunter

Mike Fisher posted in his Instagram account:

“This past weekend, we were able to get away for some good quality time! One thing we love to do together is fly fish. But the thing I don’t like about it is she catches bigger fish:) #flyfishing”

Well, as a husband, Mike may be proud of Carrie for catching a bigger fish. But as a hunter, things may spell out differently. Nonetheless, what’s really important despite their differing interests is the common ground they’re standing on. Not about being a hunter or vegan, but being a supportive husband and wife. Still, Carrie’s got the bigger fish to fry once they get home from their weekend trip.
