Sleeping In The Woods Festival, a weekend in the forest along Lake Cumberland at Hidden Ridge Camping in Kentucky, listening to intimate songwriter sets and learning the mystical alchemy of songwriting, is going for a second home run. Hosted by alt-country artist and wordsmith Nicholas Jamerson, the music fest is slated for May 17 to 19, 2024 – up a day from last year’s two.

More than 20 talented tunesmiths are coming to serenade attendees, including Jamerson himself and The Morning Jays, Cristina Vane, Maggie Noelle & Ryan Allen, Darell Scott, Hunter Flynn, and more. And, of course, there’s a songwriter workshop to be hosted by Americana songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Rachel Baiman.

And it’s not just a celebration of music; it’s also a moment to take in nature and embrace it with open arms.
