The McCollum family is trading tour buses for toy trucks once again.

Country crooner Parker McCollum just dropped the best kind of news this Christmas, and no, it is not a surprise album or tour. The McCollum party is officially expanding. Parker and his wife, Hallie Ray Light McCollum, announced they are expecting their second child, another baby boy, who is due in the summer of 2026. And in true country fashion, the couple made the big reveal with a sweet-as-pecan-pie Instagram post on Christmas Day, standing proudly in front of their tree with their son Major, who just turned one.

Hallie placed her hand on her growing bump and captioned it with excitement and joy. She wrote, “McCollum party of 4 next Christmas!!!! another BOY joining us summer 2026!!! Merry Christmas, everyone! Thank you, Jesus! HBD!!” If that does not sound like a Southern mama counting her blessings, then I do not know what does.

The first McCollum baby, Major Yancey Tyler McCollum, was born on August 8, 2024, tipping the scales at 7 pounds and 12 ounces. Parker proudly revealed his son’s name during a sit-down on The Spencer Graves Show, and fans quickly caught on to how meaningful the name was. Yancey comes from Parker’s own middle name, which is a nod to family roots that run deep.

Parker and Hallie have never been shy about sharing their love story or their journey through parenthood. Not long after welcoming Major, Hallie was already hinting at wanting more children. She even joked on Instagram that she had asked her baby boy if he was ready for a sibling, and that sentiment now feels like it was setting the stage for this exact moment.

The couple has come a long way since their chance meeting through mutual friends back in 2019. After a brief breakup in 2020, Parker realized he could not live without her and came to his senses in time to propose in 2021. They tied the knot in a dreamy Texas wedding at Boxwood Manor in March 2022. Parker, ever the romantic, quoted Randy Travis in his wedding announcement. That is a man with both a heart and a honky-tonk soul.

Their love has not only stood strong but has continued to bloom, and now they are preparing to raise two boys who will be close in age. With Major turning two by the time his little brother arrives, the McCollum boys are bound to be best buds who will be raising hell on the ranch just like their daddy did. And knowing Parker, fans are probably going to get a few heartfelt songs inspired by fatherhood, late nights, and toy-strewn living rooms.

Hallie is not just the woman behind the man. She is a business owner, former college athlete, and co-founder of KIHK clothing alongside her sisters. She balances motherhood and entrepreneurship with grace and grit, which makes her one of the fiercest country wives around.

Parker joins a whole wave of country stars who are welcoming babies in 2026, with names like Luke Combs, Thomas Rhett, and Bobby Bones also on the baby train. It is shaping up to be a full-blown baby boom in country music, and fans are loving every minute of it.

As they look toward summer 2026, the McCollums are embracing every blessing. Their journey has been full of real love, second chances, and strong family values. That is the kind of story that belongs in a country song, and there is no doubt Parker is already working on the lyrics.

Here is to the growing McCollum clan and the new little cowboy on the way. Yeehaw, y’all.
