Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s Divorce Finalized With Custody and Asset Details Revealed

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban smile in a recording studio selfie, as their 19-year marriage ends with divorce finalized, revealing custody split for daughters and separate assets in quiet Nashville proceedings.

Keith Urban packed up and left before summer even hit full swing.

That is the word from inside their Nashville circle, and now, it is done. Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s divorce is finalized after 19 years of marriage, and while the paperwork is clean, the ending is still messy in all the ways that matter. The court filings say one thing, while the timing says another. And if you have been paying attention, it is clear who slammed the door shut.

Nicole filed for divorce back on September 30th, 2025. However, according to insiders and quiet reports, they had already been living apart for months. Urban had moved out. Kidman, for her part, reportedly tried to hold it together. But when one person checks out early, the marriage clock runs out fast.

It is a sad final verse to a love song that started strong. Keith met Nicole at the G’Day USA Gala in 2005 and was so nervous he carried her number around for over a week before calling. When he finally did, it hit quick. They were married within a year. There were no scandals and no headlines. Just two superstars somehow making the real stuff work until they did not.

They raised two daughters named Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret. They split time between Nashville and Australia. He wrote songs about her. She clapped from the front row. But if you think that kind of fairy tale guarantees a happy ending, then you have not listened to nearly enough country music.

The finalized divorce decree lays out a cold-blooded split. Nicole has primary custody. The girls will stay with her for 306 days of the year, while Keith gets 59. That is less than every other weekend. That is not “we are figuring it out.” That is a custody deal with some teeth.

The assets were split just as clean. There is no alimony and no child support. There are no arguments over guitars or cars or real estate. Each keeps what is in their name, including bank accounts, personal property, and investments. It reads like they had already done the dividing before the papers were even filed. And judging by how fast it wrapped up, they probably had.

The legal documents include a very Hollywood line that somehow still hurts like hell. Both parents must provide a loving, stable, consistent, and nurturing relationship with the child, even though they are divorced. That means keep it classy for the kids. There will be no dirt and no mud. There will be no bad-mouthing each other or each other’s families, even if you are bleeding.

Urban is staying in Nashville. Nicole rang in the new year in Australia with the girls. There were no Instagram posts and no post-divorce statements. Just silence. The kind that says everything.

There is still a little heartbreak hiding in Keith’s old quote. He once said he felt like he was meeting a real-life princess. That is what Nicole was to him. She was not just some actress or some headline. She was a mystic creature from Sydney with an accent and a spark that turned a shy boy into a husband and a dad.

But even fairy tales get tired.

This was not some celebrity stunt divorce. It was two people who tried. They lasted longer than most. They built a family and carved out almost two decades in a world that does not make it easy. But forever is a long road, and sometimes the truck just runs out of gas.

They will not be writing duets anymore, but they wrote one hell of a love story.

And in the end, Keith Urban did what a country boy does when the music fades. He packed up, hit the door, and did not look back.
