Country superstar Carrie Underwood was one of the many mamas celebrated in honor of Mother’s Day. In addition to being one of the biggest artists in the genre, the “Before He Cheats” singer keeps herself busy as a loving mother to her two sons: Isaiah and Jacob.
While she said her family doesn’t have any Mother’s Day traditions, Underwood’s husband – former ice hockey player in the National Hockey League, Mike Fisher – always makes sure to honor her for all she does as a mom. He’s no stranger to penning her the most adorable and heartfelt posts on social media, praising her for all her success.
Let’s take a look at some of his sweetest messages through the years.
Posting to Instagram, Mike Fisher shared a lovely mother-and-son moment wherein the country star helped little Isaiah fish in a pond. Fisher made his love and appreciation for Carrie Underwood clear as he wrote in the caption how fortunate they are to have her in their lives.
Fisher also posted a photo of his own mother, Karen Fisher. “Beautiful, Fun, loving, kind, faithful, nurturing, and competitive,” Fisher described the two most important women of his life.
Underwood received another touching tribute from Fisher when he shared a photo of the singer feeding their three-month-old younger son Jacob, while at the same time getting her hair done.
Indeed, Underwood is doing it all, and her husband couldn’t be any prouder.
