Lauren Alaina has been engaged to fiancé Cameron Arnold since November 20, 2022. The country star shared the good news on her Instagram account and officially announced it while onstage at none other than her favorite place in the world, the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville.

“I didn’t know happiness and excitement like this existed. I can’t wait to be Mrs. Cameron Scott Arnold,” she wrote in her post. This comes with a handful of photos to celebrate the special occasion, including the bride-to-be flashing her diamond ring taken alongside her future husband.

Lauren Alaina first came to the public’s attention after being the first runner-up in the tenth season of American Idol in 2011. Since then, the momentum from her victory never stopped, even making her debut song, “Wildflower,” peak at No. 5 on Billboard Top 200.

In 2022, she was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry, which she described as a life-changing event in her life since it’s been her biggest goal for such a long time. She was invited into the club by Trisha Yearwood, who joined the Georgia native onstage during a performance.

In addition to changing her last name soon, Alaina has recently signed a new record deal and revealed that new music is on the way.

Meanwhile, Cameron Arnold is a partner in a Nashville-based insurance firm. He admittedly doesn’t like to step on stages but made an exception when the country singer announced their engagement inside the historic circle. In fact, it was actually the very first time Alaina showed the love of her life to the world.

The two started dating two years and a half before getting engaged but have kept their relationship out of the spotlight. But now, the “Road Less Traveled” singer said she just couldn’t wait for everyone to acknowledge them as a couple.

“He keeps me grounded and gives me a piece of a normal everyday life that I didn’t have before him,” Alaina said about her fiancé.

But finding forever wasn’t a walk in the park for Alaina. In 2018, she was first engaged to Alex Hopkins, whom she dated for six years. The former couple called off their wedding plans a few months later, saying that individual growth and change led to the difficult decision. She then briefly dated comedian John Crist.

After a series of heartbreaks, Alaina said she committed herself to waiting until her next relationship would be serious enough to share it with fans.

Indeed, her relationship with Arnold leads her to walk down the aisle soon enough. It even looks like they are knee-deep in wedding planning, revealing that they have now managed to find a date, a venue, and a dress.

When the big day comes, we’re pretty sure it’s one we will never forget. Congratulations, Lauren Alaina and Cameron Arnold, for being engaged and starting this exciting time in your lives. We are very thrilled for you both!
