Our lives have totally changed over the past few months. You probably are one of many who have struggled to find the motivation and ways to be productive even while doing work at home. If that’s your case, then you have to listen to this tune from Shania Twain and Kelsea Ballerini. It definitely overflows with coolness!

“Hole in the Bottle”

A fine country drinking song, “Hole in the Bottle” was originally released as a single and included in Bellarini’s album “Kelsea.” The powerful country anthem was first brought to existence through an email sent by Twain to Kelsea. For the younger country singer, it was unbelievable to receive a message from one of the most renowned names in country music today.

Twain never skipped a bit in discussing a collaboration with Ballerini. After several exchanges, Ballerini remembered that she has a catchy song and Twain will definitely be the perfect piece to add some fire to the single.

Twain said that totally loved working with Ballerini. The poise and the strong direction that Ballerini shows were outstanding for Twain. She added that Ballerini is a good director.

Her Hero and Mentor

Shania Twain and Kelsea Ballerini have built their friendship over the years. The two first met after Ballerini joined Twain while they headline a set at the Stagecoach country music festival. Since then, the two singers have set some time for wine and chat.

For Ballerini, meeting Twain could have been enough but having the chance to work with one of her childhood heroes is another thing. Twain has become Ballerini’s friend and mentor who helped her add so much more to her music.

If “Hole in the Bottle” was a statement of the quality of work by a Shania Twain and Kelsea Ballerini collaboration, then it definitely had us on the edge of our seats! “Hole in a Bottle” now stands just outside the top 10 of the country song charts and sits at the 13th spot on the Mediabase charts. This follows two other duets that came from Ballerini’s “Kelsea” album; “Home Coming Queen” and “The Other Girl.”

While Ballerini is busy racking up collaborative projects, Twain has again proven that she is still one of country music’s main names and has built on that paving the way for younger artists such as Ballerini.

Watch out for more Shania Twain and Kelsea Ballerini collaborations in the future!
