The Duck Dynasty bloodline is booming with baby joy this season.

Just in time for the holidays, Merritt Robertson and her husband, Tyler Metro, added a brand-new branch to the ever-growing Robertson family tree. The couple welcomed their first child, a beautiful baby girl named Nellie Jane Metro, and shared the big news on Instagram a week after her arrival. Merritt wrote, “It’s been one week since our sweet Nellie Jane Metro arrived. We’re absolutely mesmerized,” and judging by the pictures, this little gal has already captured hearts left and right.

Photos showed tiny Nellie rocking a Minnie Mouse onesie, soaking in her first winter sunlight, and even having a jolly visit with Santa Claus. One snapshot in particular tugged at the heartstrings, showing Merritt in the hospital with her newborn daughter curled up on her chest. That is the kind of moment that reminds you why family matters most, especially in the Robertson household.

If the name sounds familiar, it is because Merritt comes from a long line of downhome Duck Dynasty royalty. She is the daughter of Jep and Jessica Robertson, and with her new baby girl, Jessica is officially a grandma again. And not just to one baby this season. The Robertsons are making a whole nursery roll call.

Back in October, Merritt’s younger sister, Priscilla, also joined the mom club when she welcomed her daughter, August Mae Nash, with boyfriend Dillon Nash. That is two babies in two months for the Robertson sisters, and you can bet the house will be packed full of pink onesies, baby bows, and enough lullabies to fill a country radio station.

Mama Jessica is soaking up every second of this grandbaby boom. She proudly posted, “We are thrilled to welcome another precious grandbaby into our family. Nellie Jane Metro is such a blessing and we are so proud of you.” With six kids of her own, Jessica knows a thing or two about raising a big family, and now she is embracing the grandma title with all the warmth and joy you would expect from a Duck Dynasty matriarch.

Merritt and Tyler tied the knot in June 2024 and wasted no time in building their family. When they first announced the pregnancy, it was in classic Robertson fashion, heartfelt and joyful, with a photo of the couple holding sonograms and sharing the news that Baby Metro would be arriving around Christmas. And sure enough, the newest little duckling showed up right on cue to make the season merry and bright.

Meanwhile, Priscilla’s journey into motherhood with Dillon has been equally heartwarming. Dillon posted after August’s birth, saying, “I am so blessed to be able to take care of this beautiful little girl and do it with the love of my life.” That kind of tender pride is what family is all about.

With two babies now born just weeks apart, the Robertson family is not just growing. It is thriving. From duck calls and camo gear to bottles and binkies, life for the Robertsons looks a little different these days, but it is no less full of faith, love, and laughter.

And if you know anything about this tight-knit Louisiana clan, you know these babies are already surrounded by a tribe that knows how to raise them right. One thing is certain. Little Nellie Jane and August Mae are starting life with more love than most folks could ever dream of. It sounds like a new chapter in the Duck Dynasty legacy is already off to a blessed start.
