For nearly 50-years, CMA Fest has been a unique time where country music and fan culture collides. This has also been the unofficial kick-off for the tourist season to start in the music city. Every year, the fest has been held every June, just right in time for the start of the spring season. Unfortunately, the fest was canceled due to the rising threat of the Corona Virus Pandemic.

Sarah Trahern, Country Music Association CEO, was disappointed that the event has to be cancelled this year. Fortunately, CMA found a way to still give country music fans the same atmosphere that the CMA fest has given through the years, right into their living rooms.

Get excited for CMA Best of Fest!

CMA, together with its long time partner ABC, has partnered to air a three-hour special that would feature highlights from the past festivals. CMA Best of Fest will be aired Monday night at 8 p.m. ET.

More than a decade worth of country music performances would definitely bring the party into your living room. A 2007 CMA Fest in Nashville performance by Miranda Lambert will be the oldest one to be aired while a socially distant duet from Luke Bryan and Darius Rucker will be the most recent one.

Aside from the greatest performances that the biggest artists from the genre have delivered over the years, there are some things that you have to know more about the CMA Best of Fest.

The CMA Best of Fest would also be featuring country music star Luke Bryan as the host of the event. Other country stars will also be performing on the event. Country music stars like, Garth Brooks, Darius Rucker, Carrie Underwood, Jason Aldean, Joan  Jett , Trace Adkins, Keith Urban, Joan Jett, Trace Adkins, Keith Urban, Brooks & Dunn, and many more.

Songs that made a mark on the charts and the ones that were the most loved by the country music fans over the past decade like, Keith Urban’s “Wasted Time,”  Carrie Underwood’s 2019 collaboration with Joan Jett and Garth Brooks Medley are just some of the performances to watch for tonight.  Country fans would not also want to miss out on the famous duet by Lauren Alaina and Kane Brown in 2018.

Though the original plans for the annual CMA fest were canceled, it will never be too late to have some country music festivities in your own living room tonight. With country music and your family around, tonight would not even get more special. Watch it here.
