Congratulations are in order for NBC’s The Voice season 17 champion, Jake Hoot, as he has now become a father of two!

On Sunday (July 31), the country singer took to Instagram to announce the thrilling news that his first child with wife Brittney has finally arrived – daughter Madilyn Bri Hoot. And they “couldn’t be more in love,” Hoot gushing in the caption alongside a heart-eyes emoji.

The couple welcomed their baby girl into the world a week ago, on July 24 at 3:30 in the morning. She made the grand entrance weighing 7 pounds, 4 ounces, and was 18 ¾ long.

The first-time mom also took to social media to express her joy at her baby’s arrival – an experience she described as the biggest miracle of her life. “She’s the most beautiful thing I’ve ever known. I never knew that my capacity to love someone could become so deep and this profound,” Brittney said, along with a photo of herself with Jake and their new bundle of joy.

Becoming A Family Of Four

Jake Hoot and Brittney Hoyt Hoot shared they were expecting a baby in March, the same month they celebrated their first wedding anniversary. The Texas native even wrote a special song to announce that Baby Hoot is coming soon, which he sang in a video of him along with his wife and Macy – Hoot’s daughter from his previous relationship.

Over the months, the couple shared more about Brittney’s pregnancy, such as lovely maternity photos. This includes the one where Macy is hugging Brittney’s baby bump.

And now that her baby sister has finally arrived, Macy is as grateful as her parents. “Madilyn is one lucky girl, as has the best big sister out there,” Brittney said.

Truly, a bundle of joy has come to Jake Hoot’s family – and we couldn’t be happier!
