This is perhaps the best rendition of “Move it on Over” that you’ll ever hear!

Willie Nelson may be known as one of the most talented country singers in the music industry, but he is also the proud father to sons who are equally as talented as he is.

So, in 2017, it was no surprise when he enlisted the help of his two boys, with Lukas and Micah Nelson joining their father for a special record called Willie Nelson and the Boys. This is actually the second installment to the country icon’s Willie’s Stash series of archival recordings – which was first released in 2014.

Willie Nelson and the Boys features 12 archival recordings, wherein seven of them are songs written by Hank Williams. This includes “I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry,” “Cold, Cold Heart,” “Your Cheatin’ Heart,” “Why Don’t You Love Me,” and of course, the energetic and lively “Move it on Over,” which fully allowed Willie and his sons to set loose and just have some fun.

In the released music video, the trio joined together to sing “Move It On Over” in the studio. Willie and his sons can be seen sitting in a semicircle around a batch of microphones, as they each hold a guitar.

The short clip began with Willie, Lukas, and Micah recollecting some funny memories from their previous shows before Willie started playing a little ditty that led into “Move It On Over.” His sons quickly joined in, and they made sure they wouldn’t miss any beat. All of a sudden, the trio filled the studio with the sound of their acoustic jam session – and it’s definitely one of the coolest things you’ll ever witness.

And of course, the performance was truly a heartwarming one watching this father-and-sons group play a classic country song together.

You can watch Willie Nelson, together with sons Lukas and Micah Nelson, in their incredible performance of “Move It On Over” in the video below.
