Most would have probably already heard of ‘The Notorious RBG.’ Just on September 18, one of the most looked upon names in the Justice system passed away. And in our loss of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, it didn’t just affect the judiciary system, but the whole country itself even the music industry.

A Person We All Look Up To

Dolly Parton is one of those people who admire the notorious Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Parton described Ginsburg as a person possessing a small stature, but even the tallest people in the world look up to her.

Ginsburg’s influence in the Justice system has lasted for decades which makes her legacy and influence echo in the hearts and minds of her successors. She died in peace inside her home after fighting her metastatic cancer which greatly affected her pancreas. According to the news, she went away while being surrounded by her family.

Dolly Parton is not only the one who Ginsburg left a good impression though. Chief Justice John Roberts also described her to be a ‘justice of historic stature.’ Voicing the Supreme Court, he said that all of them mourn her death. They have not only lost a great leader, but also a colleague. Their prayers are for that person who will take Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s place to take her life as an inspiration in being a tireless and resolute champion, dedicated to mere justice.

Ruth Bader Ginsburg‘s Years of Service

She was first nominated to the Supreme Court by President Bill Clinton in 1993 which led her service streak extending for more than 27 years. She became the face of the Supreme Court for her unequivocal service and as an advocate for liberal causes. When it comes to feminism issues, she’s surely the one you would want to run into.

During her later years in the service, Ginsburg became the senior Supreme Court judge among the more liberal wing of the institution and emerged as a hero who greatly contributed to the progressiveness of America. After President Trump took in the 45th seat of power, liberals labelled her as a lone bulwark who singlehandedly kept the balance and justice within the government and its institutions.

Her death may be a peaceful one but since the government experienced a loss of a valuable asset, it became a setback to consider who would be the one to succeed her after the 2020 presidential elections.

We extend our condolences and mourning to the loss of Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s biological family, and to her extended family whom she served for several decades.
