Noah Kahan certainly reached a new level this month with his third studio album Stick Season not just entering the top Americana/folk albums for July 2023 but also sitting atop. In fact, the album shoots all the way from No. 100 to No. 3 on U.S. Billboard 200. Indeed, many connect to Kahan’s songs that have memorable lyrics and exude an artistic nostalgia that conjures indie-folk stalwarts of yesteryear.

Meanwhile, the viral country-folk sensation Zach Bryan still dominates the list with three albums within the top ten. His huge 34-song triple album American Heartbreak sits on the second spot. It has also reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Folk Albums while peaking at No. 5 on Billboard 200. Truly, Bryan is a prolific force.
