Nork Countrytreff will be packed with 28 top-tier country music acts from July 10-14, 2024, at the Fjordhest Garden på Breim in Breim in Gloppen, Nordfjord, Norway. This will be the 28th year of the festival since its first in 1995, and they have undeniably grown into one of the largest cultural events in western Norway. In fact, it has become a tradition among gloppers and other country music enthusiasts to dedicate their weekends to the festival and do volunteer work.

Last year, they had a new attendance record of 21,300 people (from 2,000 in their inaugural run), which was not surprising considering the lineup of Josh Turner, Dale Watson, Vassendgutane, Gunslingers, Byting, Crashville, and more. This year, they’re featuring yet another stellar roster with Western swing band Asleep at the Wheel, Canadian singer-songwriter Jade Eagleson, and their very own rock band Hellbillies at the helm.

Aside from the stage performances, fans are also set to enjoy the NCT’s flagship event, the church concert in Breim Church, as well as the traditional and gradually very popular Bluegrass concert in Frislidlada at Nordfjord Folkemuseum (July 14) and the special free event for the young cowboys, the Children’s Country meeting (July 10). m

Bli med på Norges beste countryfestival! — Get ready to enjoy good country music all the way down at Norsk Countrytreff 2024. There are two stages for the event: The Main Scene at The Hesjestaur and the Kafescena (Cafe Scene) at Kolbein’s Saloon. And aside from the stage performances, there’ll also be concerts at different centers (Skei, Byrkjelo, Reed, Hyen, and Sandane) and a special bluegrass one at Frislidlada, Nordfjorf Folkemuseum.

Norsk Countrytreff 2024 Tickets & Insider Tips

It’s not yet too late to purchase your tickets for the event. 

For the adults 18 years and above, there are multiple single tickets available: Main Arena (Wednesday – NOK 200 / $18.66; Thursday – NOK 590 / $55.04; Friday & Saturday – NOK 990 / $92.36), Church Concert (NOK 490 / $45.71), and Bluegrass concert (NOK 350 / $32.65). As for youth aged 13-17 years old, they can also avail single-day tickets for the Main Arena (NOK 350 / $32.65 for all days). As for children under 13, they’re free with a paying accompanying guardian. 

Organizers also note that persons under the age of 18 have a separate area by the main stage for visitors and are not allowed to enter the café scene after 6 PM. Youth tickets (13-17 years old) can only be purchased at the arena’s entrance.

For a hassle-free experience, you can also purchase a festival pass with camping inclusion (NOK 2,990 / $278.94 for 5 days; NOK 2,890 / $269.61 for 4 days; NOK 2,790 / $260.28 for 3 days; NOK 1,590 / $148.33 for 2 days). However, this is only for 18 years and above, and dogs are not allowed in the camping areas or the main arena.
