Hassie Harrison Explains Why Co-Star Kevin Costner Is The GOAT

Hassie Harrison explains why Kevin Costner is the GOAT.

Hassie Harrison plays the role of Laramie in the widely popular Yellowstone series created by Taylor Sheridan and John Linson, starring Kevin Costner as John Dutton, the patriarch of the Dutton family who controls the largest ranch in the US. Completing the Dutton family are Luke Grimes (Kayce), Kelly Reilly (Beth), Wes Bentley (Jamie), Kelsey Asbille (Monica), and Breckin Merrill (Tate).

The show premiered in 2018 and is renewed for a fourth season to be aired this 2021 on Paramount Network. In its third season, they spiced things up by introducing new characters just like barrel racer Laramie. And in a behind-the-scene episode, Hassie Harrison took us on a tour of the Bunkhouse and answered some burning questions.

In the first part of the video, Hassie showed the studio set of the Bunkhouse and shared how she enjoyed filming. But of course, nothing beats the real thing. When asked about her first impression on the shooting in Montana, Hassie only had beautiful things to say about it.

For her, shooting on a real set with the barn and the epic mountains as background was like an actor in full get-up. It was so much easier to be in character. She had always been a fan of the series and seeing the barn was just an amazing experience for her. She also shared how the whole cast would just have fun together while shooting.

As for Kevin Costner, Hassie described him as the GOAT or Greatest of all Time. He was just so awesome and the nicest guy in the world. When she was doing her first scene as Laramie, Kevin Costner came and watched it.

As a girl from Dallas, the western country wardrobe was not new to her and the Yellowstone wardrobe was so just so great. She loved the idea of how she can create her character with the clothes. Not only that, they also have custom belt buckles, thanks to costume designer Johnetta Boone. And as for the boots, there’s the pointy ones like the one Forrie wears and the square-toed ones worn by Jake Ream. And Hassie definitely wears the pointy ones.

And lastly, Hassie doesn’t think Laramie would have a Tinder profile because basically, she doesn’t need one.

Catch Yellowstone’s fourth season this year. Not only would we be getting more of Hassie Harrison as Laramie, we might also be seeing more of the fan favorite character named Walker, played by Ryan Bingham. The only way to know is to tune in.
