Along with the extraordinary music from an exceptional roster is FreshScores, a silent film with original live music, all-new musical commissions, and a world premiere. And, of course, the festival also offers an array of other things to try, like fun, family-friendly activities, great local food and drinks, and industry workshops.

FreshGrass | Bentonville has welcomed nearly 20,000 attendees in the last four years and has included phenomenal talents like 12-time Grammy winner Dispatch and lauded singer-songwriter Amos Lee in the past as headliners. Last year, they invited Mavis Staples, Sierra Ferrell, and the Del McCoury Band to be the main acts.

Festival Essentials & Insider Tips

Here are all the things you need to know and all the good stuff you shouldn’t miss out on.

General Admission (GA) tickets can be availed for a single day or as a two-day pass. Friday tickets cost $85, while Saturday tickets go for $110. Children aged 7 to 16 years old are charged $28 per ticket. Children six years old and under are free. Two-day GA tickets are at $160 for adults and $45 for children. And there’s only one VIP tier, the two-day FreshPass VIP Ticket, which costs $375. Unfortunately, no pets are allowed inside the festival.

Momentary members can avail themselves of discounts. If you aren’t a member yet, call their member priority line at (479) 418-5278 or email [email protected] to purchase.

For the festival itself, you don’t have to bring much except for your ticket, valid ID, folding chairs and blankets (umbrellas are a no-go), empty plastic water bottles (no glass or metal containers allowed), and everything you need for a sunny – or rainy – day. It’s also 100 percent cashless, so don’t forget your cards. You’ll need them to buy food, specifically to experience the pop-up diner care of Crystal Bridges Executive Chef Timothy Ordway, and merch to commemorate the event.

Organizers highly encourage walking or biking to the festival. Bike valets are available outside the gates along 8th Street to park your bikes.

For more info, visit their official website at FreshGrass | Bentonville. FreshGrass is also slated for September at MASS MoCA in North Adams, Massachusetts.
