Chris Stapleton is under the weather, and his doctor’s orders have forced him to postpone several dates on his remaining All-American Road Show Tour.
The “Tennessee Whiskey” hitmaker broke the news to his fans in a message posted on his official Instagram page last Wednesday (October 11), revealing that he was diagnosed with “bronchitis and laryngitis.” His condition left him no choice but to reschedule his performances on the next three upcoming concerts in Corpus Christi, Texas, Houston, Texas, and Lafayette, Louisiana, this week. He added that his doctor had put him on vocal rest over the weekend to help him recover.
Stapleton ended his message by showcasing gratitude, especially for fans’ “patience and understanding.”
“Hope to see you all in November,” the country singer said in one of his latest statements.
Chris Stapleton’s All-American Road Show Tour
Chris Stapleton kept rolling out his All-American Road Show Tour in 2023, where he was joined by a mix of country and Americana artists such as Margo Price. The tour kicked off in El Paso, Texas, last April 26.
Stapleton assured concertgoers that tickets purchased for the canceled shows will remain valid and applicable for the newly arranged dates.
The rescheduled dates are as follows: Stapleton will be hitting Lafayette, Louisiana, first on November 16 before making his way to Houston, Texas, on November 17. Finally, he will grace Corpus Christi, Texas, on November 18.
The newly scheduled tour dates will also include a special appearance by Nikki Lane.
Meanwhile, Stapleton will resume his concert in San Antonio, Texas, on Thursday (October 19). We look forward to his swift return to the stage, rested and eager to perform again.
