The CMT Awards have been an annual celebration for the country music industry which includes fans, artists, and songwriters. Even with what the world is going through today, the CMT Awards night is still something that we all should look forward to. Here are some details that you have to know.

Kane Brown as Co-Host

Announced on Tuesday, Kane Brown was selected by the television network as one of four celebrities to co-host the 2020 CMT Awards. Modern Family star, Sarah Hyland will be joining Brown in this year’s awards night. Both Brown and Hyland are first-time hosts for the said event.

Kane Brown could not contain his excitement after being named as one of this year’s host. The first time host and two-time 2020 CMT Music Awards Nominee will also be performing during the awards night. During a press release, Brown is excited and is looking forward to the “great time” the fans and artists will have especially with great performances in store.

2020 CMT Awards Performances

In addition to Brown, fellow country stars Ingrid Andress, Hardy, Caylee Hammack, Mickey Guyton, Riley Green, Travis Denning, Maren Morris, Ashley McBride, Dan + Shay, Little Big Town, and Luke Bryan are all lined-up to perform in this year’s installment of the 2020 CMT awards. There will be more performers to be announced in the later dates.

The 2020 CMA Awards are set to air on October 21 at 8pm CT on CMT as well as MTV, MTV2, Logo, Paramount Network, Pop TV and TV Land.
