The spirit of Christmas is beginning to be around us, and we know for certain that after Thanksgiving we are going to expect more festive decors and preparations to come. We also have to get ready because a lot of artists would be releasing rerecorded Christmas songs or a newly composed one.

We cannot be more excited as Thomas Rhett surprises us with two new holiday songs. He released a lyric video for his original song “Christmas in the Country” and a cover of the classic “The Christmas Song.” Come and let’s take a look at Rhett’s colorful and exciting holiday songs.

Rhett has been wanting to record a Christmas song for a long time, and even his wife Lauren wanted him to make Christmas music. And this year couldn’t be the most perfect time for him and his family.

“Christmas is hands-down my favorite time of year,” he said in a statement. “We have so many Christmas traditions in our family that include a lot of festive music, but I’ve never recorded anything myself. Lauren has wanted me to make some Christmas music for a long time, so this year felt like the right time to finally take a stab at writing something and to put my own twist on one of the all-time classics.”

We think that his Christmas songs are perfect enough for this season. We are hoping to hear more holiday music from Rhett, and we are certainly rooting for a Christmas album.
