We cannot be more excited as Thomas Rhett surprises us with two new holiday songs. He released a lyric video for his original song “Christmas in the Country” and a cover of the classic “The Christmas Song.” Come and let’s take a look at Rhett’s colorful and exciting holiday songs.
Rhett has been wanting to record a Christmas song for a long time, and even his wife Lauren wanted him to make Christmas music. And this year couldn’t be the most perfect time for him and his family.
“Christmas is hands-down my favorite time of year,” he said in a statement. “We have so many Christmas traditions in our family that include a lot of festive music, but I’ve never recorded anything myself. Lauren has wanted me to make some Christmas music for a long time, so this year felt like the right time to finally take a stab at writing something and to put my own twist on one of the all-time classics.”
We think that his Christmas songs are perfect enough for this season. We are hoping to hear more holiday music from Rhett, and we are certainly rooting for a Christmas album.
