Jelly Roll and Bunnie XO Celebrate Their 9th Wedding Anniversary in Germany With a Love Story Still Strong

Nine years later, Jelly Roll is still singing his love song to Bunnie XO, and this time the chorus rang out in Germany.

On August 31, the couple marked their wedding anniversary in Cologne, posing outside the breathtaking Cologne Cathedral with grins wide enough to light the whole square. They shared the photos on Instagram with a caption that summed them up in one line: “Life is ours, we live it our way. 9 years of us.”

Fans flooded the comments with love. “Been watching all 9 and love every chapter,” one wrote. Another added, “This is a couple that God has built from literally the ground up.” That last part might be the truest of them all because if ever there was a country love story built on second chances, grit, and faith, it is Jelly and Bunnie’s.

The two first crossed paths in 2015 at a Jelly Roll show in Las Vegas. By the following year, he was proposing on stage at the Country Saloon, and a few hours later, they tied the knot in a Vegas courthouse. There was no fancy reception and no drawn-out engagement, only two people saying yes in the middle of the chaos and then building their life together from the ground up.

They have had their bumps, including a brief split in 2018, but when they came back together, they were stronger than ever. In 2023, they renewed their vows in the very same Vegas chapel where it all started, proving that sometimes the most rock-solid love stories come wrapped in neon lights and second chances.

Now, nearly a decade into marriage, they are celebrating in Europe while Jelly is out opening for Post Malone on his first international tour. For years, his past kept him from traveling overseas, but now he is walking through centuries-old cathedrals with the woman who helped turn his whole life around. That is a full-circle moment if there ever was one.

It has not just been romance either. Bunnie XO has been the backbone of their family. She stepped in to help raise Jelly’s daughter, Bailee, later gaining full custody alongside him. She has been open about the challenges of IVF as they try to grow their family, telling fans how exhausting the process has been but also how hopeful she feels about what is to come. Jelly himself has said, “I would have never got custody of my daughter without her. I wouldn’t have had the stability or the money.”

That stability has changed everything. Jelly Roll has gone from a Nashville underdog to a Grammy-nominated superstar, and Bunnie has built her own empire through her D𝐮mb Blonde podcast. Through it all, they have stayed locked in, laughing, grinding, and showing the world what loyalty looks like.

On their anniversary, Jelly soundtracked his Instagram Story with Metallica’s “Nothing Else Matters” and wrote simply, “9 years. I love more and more every single day.” That is not a polished PR line. That is a man who has lived it, lost it, and learned to hold on tight when he finally found the real thing.

From a courthouse wedding in Vegas to a cathedral in Germany, Jelly Roll and Bunnie XO have proved that love does not have to follow the rules to last. It just has to be real. Nine years down, forever to go.
