In 2012, Gary Allan released his single “Every Storm (Runs Out of Rain).” Allan’s song delivers a strong meaning and encouragement for people who are going through something in life. His single was released first before it was included on his ninth studio album Set You Free. “Every Storm (Runs Out of Rain)” entered three charts on the Billboard. It peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Airplay. In addition, the song reached No. 26 on the Billboard Hot 100, and it went to No. 1 on the Country chart. Therefore, his song became his fourth No. 1 single on the Billboard Country chart. The song was also Platinum-certified by RIAA in 2013. It was written by Gary Allan himself together with other of his co-writer Matt Warren and Hillary Lindsey.

Set You Free Album

Set You Free is the album he released the following year after his song “Every Storm (Runs Out of Rain)” became No. 1. He included his fourth No. 1 single on this album. Aside from his single “Every Storm (Runs Out of Rain)” that entered the chart, two singles from his album also made it to the Billboard chart (“Pieces” and “It Ain’t the Whiskey”). The album reached the Billboard Country Albums chart at No. 2 and No. 1 on Billboard 200. Moreover, it peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Top Digital Albums chart.

Gary Allan’s single “Every Storm (Runs Out of Rain)” was nominated during the ACM award show in 2013 for Song of the Year.
