The 53rd CMA Annual Award show is finally here, and it certainly delighted us with a night to remember. With the unforgettable hosting of Reba McEntire, Carrie Underwood, and Dolly Parton, and extravagant performances by Tanya Tucker, Crystal Gayle, and more

The CMA Award Show gave away twelve awards this year, from Entertainer of the Year to Vocal Event of the Year.

Now let us take a closer look at the winners for this year’s Vocal Duo of the Year and Vocal Group of the Year.

CMA 2019 Winners

Vocal Duo of the Year

Before we go to the winner of this year’s award, let’s take a look at this year’s nominees for the said category.

This year’s nominees are all known names in country music.

  • Florida Georgia Line
  • Brooks & Dunn
  • Dan and Shay
  • Maddie and Tae
  • Brothers Osborne

All these artists deserve to take home the award but only one duo must only stand out, and the award was taken home by none other than Dan and Shay.

2019 is certainly a blast for Dan and Shay. They won almost every award shows they were nominated in, from the Grammy’s to the Billboard Music Awards. And this year, they end it with another win from country music’s biggest award show, CMA.

Congratulations guys!

Vocal Group of the Year

Another award given on one of the biggest nights in country music is the Vocal Group of the Year. This year’s nominees were Midland, Lady Antebellum, Old Dominion, Little Big Town, and Zac Brown Band.

Surprisingly the award was taken home again by the group Old Dominion and this is their second time to win in this category. Last year they won the same award during the 52nd CMA Awards show. Moreover, the group has bagged the 2019 ACM Vocal Group of the Year too.
