Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter Tour Tickets Are Now So Cheap They Cost Less Than a McDonald’s Meal

Beyoncé appears emotional in front of a background filled with cartoon burgers, symbolizing sadness over Cowboy Carter Tour ticket prices dropping so low they now cost less than a McDonald's meal.

For the price of a Big Mac combo, you can catch Beyoncé live—and the internet is absolutely eating it up.

Queen Bey’s Cowboy Carter Tour tickets have hit shocking new lows, with resale prices as cheap as $20 for her upcoming Los Angeles stop at SoFi Stadium. One X (formerly Twitter) user went viral after comparing the bargain-bin ticket prices to McDonald’s new Minecraft Meal, which costs around $21.39. “Due to its low demand, Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter Tour tickets ($20) are now cheaper than a McDonald’s Minecraft meal ($21.39),” the user joked, as first reported by Daily Mail.

Ouch.

The online roasting didn’t stop there. Another fan pointed out that some nosebleed seats were briefly listed for $27, which peaked at around $37. Still, with the tour’s kickoff just days away and thousands of empty seats lingering, the optics aren’t exactly great. “The Cowboy Carter tour starts in less than a week and there are still thousands of tickets left for opening night…” one user added.

Even Beyoncé’s loyal BeyHive couldn’t totally drown out the noise. While defenders reminded everyone that her Renaissance Tour also faced slow early sales before becoming the highest-grossing tour by a Black artist in history, critics piled on with brutal commentary about her country reinvention.

“She can’t even sell out in California… HasBeyn your career is OVER,” one sav𝐚ge post read alongside a half-empty stadium seating chart.

Others took direct aim at her creative direction in this era. “Nobody cares about cowgirl version of Beyoncé,” one user declared. Another added, “This country album should’ve been a donation-based concert.”

Despite the clowning, it’s important to note that Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter album has been a massive commercial success. It debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, and her single “Texas Hold’ Em” snagged the top spot on both the Hot 100 and Country charts. She also made Grammy history, snagging Album of the Year and Best Country Album honors. So it’s not like she’s struggling on every front.

It’s also worth mentioning that the tickets being mocked are mostly resale listings, meaning Beyoncé and her team already cashed in on the original full-priced sales. Plus, fans hoping for front-row views still better bring the bag: floor seats are still going for $1,500+.

Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter Tour kicks off April 28 at SoFi Stadium, with additional stops in New York, Chicago, Paris, London, Atlanta, and her hometown of Houston. Whether the tour eventually sells out remains to be seen—but right now, the only thing faster than the memes are the bargain hunters grabbing seats for less than lunch.

It looks like Beyoncé is trying to wrangle up fans—and for $20, maybe she’ll rope a few.
