Dazed and Confused is a 1993 “coming-of-age” comedy film set in Texas during the mid-1970s. It follows the story of several teen cliques celebrating their last day in school as their summer break greets them.

A 17-year-old Cole Hauser is among the film’s ensemble of amazing actors. He plays Benny O’Donnel, a charismatic high school student and football jock who loves beating up incoming first-year students during his year end hazing rituals.

Hauser is one of the many up-and-coming actors that the movie Dazed and Confused helped kickstart their careers. You could say the film had a cast full of future Hollywood heavyweights. The film had Ben Affleck, Milla Jovovich, Parker Posey, Adam Goldberg, and Matthew McConaughey, who uttered his legendary “Alright, alright, alright” phrase in the film.

Despite being a supporting role, Benny O’Donnel’s character stood out because of Hauser’s performance. The movie helped open up more acting opportunities for Hauser. One example is Good Will Hunting, arguably one of the best films of all time. It’s a movie where he worked alongside fellow Dazed and Confused co-star Ben Affleck.

Dazed and Confused is truly a film worth watching. The film isn’t only popular because of its ensemble of future Hollywood superstars but also for its amazing story writing. If you want to see how Cole Hauser’s acting was when he was young, then this is a movie you should check out.

So, if you were wondering which one is Cole Hauser in Dazed and Confused, then now you know the answer. You can see more of Hauser in the latest season of Yellowstone.
