The Louisiana native is being recognized in six categories. This includes Female Vocalist Of The Year and New Artist Of The Year. Her third and first full-length collection studio album, Sayin’ What I’m Thinkin’ is also digging for Album of the Year.
This makes Lainey Wilson one of the only four artists in the history of the Country Music Association to score six nominations in her first year.
Wilson took to social media to tell everyone how “honored and proud” she is to be nominated. While she’s absolutely blown away and still trying to find the words to say, she expressed her gratitude to the entire country music community.

Following Lainey Wilson closely behind were Ashley McBryde, Carly Pearce, Chris Stapleton, and Shane McAnally – who all have nods in five categories. Stapleton is actually one of the contenders for the evening’s highly anticipated award, Entertainer of the Year.
