Performed by the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, “Worthy Is The Lamb” speaks of the gratefulness we sometimes forget to say.

This beautiful hymn starts off with a very important statement we really should be saying more:

“Thank You for the cross Lord

Thank You for the price You paid

Bearing all my sin and shame

In Love, You came

And gave amazing grace”

At the base of it all, Jesus came to us to save us, He did so because He loves us and continues to do so. Due to our sins, we have been cast out of heaven and out of God’s reach, it felt seemingly hopeless for us. However, because God loves us so much:

“ . . . that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” – John 3:16

This verse is the heart of the Bible and it tells us how we were saved and redeemed. We all know this, we all celebrate it, yet sometimes we may need to be reminded to be thankful. Being thankful isn’t just something we do on thanksgiving; it is something we should do every day.

When blessings come our way we often forget to pause for a moment and thank the Lord. That is even truer when it comes to thanking Jesus for what He has done for us. We need to remember “Worthy is the Lamb” He is worthy to be called God’s begotten son, and is worthy to be thanked by us.
