I’ll Never Smoke Weed With Willie Again, Willie Nelson

We are pretty much aware that this is not the first time that Toby Keith connected Willie Nelson when it comes to marijuana brouhaha. In his 2003 album Shock’n Y’all, Willie Nelson and Toby Keith together with Scotty Emerick performed “I’ll Never Smoke Weed with Willie Again” citing the country artist’s popularity when it comes to smoking weed.

The lyrics read, I’ll never smoke weed with Willie again My party’s all over before it begins. You can pour me some more Whiskey River my friend. But I’ll never smoke weed with Willie again.”

This video below shows the performance of the trio while generating laughter from the audience.

Wacky Tobaccy, Toby Keith comeback

We haven’t heard in a while from the “Should’ve Been a Cowboy” singer since Keith dropped “A Few More Cowboys” in 2016. “Wacky Tobaccy” could be a good start of a ride as Toby Keith enlisted Willie Nelson for this video.

In the Wacky Tobaccy music video, Toby Keith dopely imparted the lesson of trying out the medicinal yet controversial plant such as using homegrown species, trying out on anything but weed could kill you and get you jailed and of course, the different ways you can enjoy your marijuana using various DIYs found in the glory of your home.

Willie Nelson was referred to as his uncle and the said country artist made his entrance smoking weed from the bathroom and later on joining the band as they sing their ode to the grass.

In his press release, Keith explained what “Wacky Tobaccy is all about:

“Wacky Tobaccy is a slogan, a saying that’s been around forever and no one has ever put it in a song,”

“When we were working on it, somebody asked if the saying has ever been written in a song and I said, ‘no, but they will now.’”
