Willie Nelson’s singing legacy undeniably flows in the blood of his family too! A number of times, we’ve seen Willie shared the stage with his children. This time, it becomes even more poignant as he sings to the Lord together with his son, Lucas, and daughter, Amy.
A fatherly love was evident in Willie Nelson’s eyes as he led his children on the rendition of their all-time favorite gospel songs, “Will the Circle be Unbroken” and “I’ll Fly Away.” The 85-year-old dad’s confidence shows how proud he is of his children.
The young Nelsons blend with their father’s distinct voice, and they seemed to have opened the gates of heaven for a moment in time. Adding to the one of a kind performance was Willie’s sister, who excellently played the piano. Their outstanding performance happened during a family event.

May Jesus be the Center of Each Family
The best moments in life one can ever have is spending quality time with family. With our family, we don’t need to pretend to be someone else, we become who we really are. I guess it’s part of God’s plan to set one interest that is common among the family. Outdoor or indoor games, camping, adventure or musicals—these are some of the activities that can be enjoyed by the whole family. However, isn’t it more valuable when a family comes together with one heart to worship the Lord?
Joshua, in the Bible, received the fullness of God’s protection in abundance because he fought for his faith together with his family. Noah and his family were the only survivors when God flooded the Earth, all credits to their total obedience to God’s words.
While it is true that no family is perfect, we can face all challenges as we put Jesus at the center of our relationships. According to God’s words, where there are two or more gathered in His name, He is with them. When we make it a family habit to recognize God’s power over our family, then no storm can ever break our home.
