Watch: When Dolly Parton was a Sexy Animated Character in ‘Gnomeo & Juliet’

Dolly Parton starred in many movies but here’s her sexiest yet as she renders her voice playing the alluring Dolly Gnome, the lawnmower race announcer who maintains her Southern accent in a British film.

She’s also dressed in a very Dolly way.

Watch her getting a cartoon makeover here and you’ll either quickly crack up or agree that the cartoon looks exactly like her:

Gnomeo & Juliet, Dolly Parton

Gnomeo & Juliet was a familiar kind of movie even if it’s categorized as an animated British-American film. Famous actors were also included alongside Dolly Parton to give life to the Shakespeare-inspired animation. It starred James McAvoy and Emily Blunt.

Since it was stirring to be a comedy animation, James McAvoy and Emily Blunt gave life to the gnome counterparts of Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet.

On the clip that was shown above, we saw a supposedly race between two gnomes involving McAvoy’s character, Romeo. Here comes a cartoon Dolly Parton that was surprisingly spitting a Southern accent. The creators of the animated film made it look exactly like Parton particularly noting the Dolly Parton signature top.

Dolly Parton’s cartoon then instructed the gnome racers on how the rules apply in a very humorous and Dolly Parton way. I bet Parton would be looking back at this moment with much gusto.

On the other hand, Gnomeo & Juliet was surprisingly a sleeper hit. It was in fact financed by Disney but was released under Touchstone Pictures banner. Comparatively, Gnomeo & Juliet beat Disney much-hyped movie, ‘Mars Needs Moms’ back then.

When it comes to the film’s musical scores, it’s a shame that Dolly Parton did not have a contribution as the soundtrack was mainly recorded by crooner, Elton John but Parton’s appearance proved to be a breath of fresh air when right animation is perfectly executed.
