Initially, the work was meant to honor her father. In 2008, her cookbook made a debut on the New York Times Bestsellers list. The book reached a stunning reception and opened doors to bigger opportunities for the singer. Eventually, her cookbook came to life as it serves the basis for Yearwood’s own Food Network television show – Trisha’s Southern Kitchen.
