11 For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”
GOOD MORNING Y’ALL!
THE FIRST SIP…
“…it is DANG GOOOOOOD!”
We all want to come out as winners in this world…
From the time when we were still in school winning in them Track Meets, to getting that First Paycheck. From getting that promotion you worked hard for to finally being able to build that house you have always wanted and dreamed of.
Or how about getting the First Harvest of the Season and being Rodeo Champion.
All of these accomplishments are real great and well-deserved. Congratulations!
Feels really good doesn’t it? Most especially after all that hard work. Not to forget, all that effort that you put in just to be able to achieve them stuff. And, of course, to get to where you are right now. Which I figure is a very, very happy place.
Yep, all of us want to come out winners in this world.
I remember and know the feeling. Nope, never had I been Rodeo Champ or won any of them Track Meets but yes, I do know. And it is DANG GOOOOOOD!
THE LAST DROP…
“…to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heed than the fat of rams.”
Yes, winning anything or having achievements is a very great thing. Even The Lord God Almighty rejoices in our victories:
Samuel said, “Has the LORD as much delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heed than the fat of rams.”
1 SAMUEL 15:22
But—as Samuel had—pray do I that we still maintain our Kindness and Humility. Even after we have reached the peak of our efforts and attained our dreams, may we still be Humble and Kind.
With this, we give you Humble and Kind by Tim McGraw. Enjoy!
You have just been “… DRINKIN’ FROM A DIXIE…”
May Y’all be Safe and Well and…
