There’s no further explanation why these two truly love each other. There are no flowery words to describe their limitless relationship. Their exemplary love shows on the songs they sing together. Also, the love they both outpour for each other can be seen in their music videos. Certainly, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill have the burning passion that can be perceived in “I Need You.”

The song is merely portraying how two lovers describe their “undying love” towards each other. Also, both are stating how they need each other’s arms.

In this generation wherein breaking up and divorce is prevalent especially in the show business, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill has perhaps one of the most robust relationships that don’t set any boundaries. Their intense relationship is indeed an embodiment to all the couples out there. And, for us people admiring them, we wish them more stringent and longer correlation for the rest of their lives.

The Song…

David Lee and Tony Lane are the songwriters behind “I Need You.” It was released in April 2007 as the second single from McGraw’s album “Let It Go.” In August 2008, the song reached at No.8 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.

Furthermore, their duet of the song was nominated twice at the Grammys for “Best Country Collaboration with Vocals” and “Best Country Song.”

The Lyrics…

I wanna drink that shot of whiskey

Wanna smoke that cigarette

I wanna smell that sweet addiction on my breathe

Wanna ride across West Virginia in the back seat of a Cadillac

You know some cowboys like me go out like that

So I need you

Like a needle needs a vein

Like my uncle Joe in Oklahoma needs a rain

And I need you

Like a lighthouse on the coast

Like the father and the son need the Holy Ghost

I need you

I wanna get lost in some corner booth, Cantina Mexico

Wanna dance to the static of an AM radio

I wanna wrap the moon around us, lay beside you skin on skin

Make love til the sun comes up, til the sun goes down again

Cause I need you

Like a needle needs a vein

Like my uncle Joe in Oklahoma needs a rain

I need you

Like a lighthouse on the coast

The father and the son need the Holy Ghost

I need you, ooh I need you

I wanna drink that shot of whiskey

Wanna smoke that cigarette

You know some cowboys like me go out like that

So I need you, whoa I need you

I need you I need you I need you, I need you
