Iconic country duo Brooks and Dunn and Country superstar Kelsea Ballerini will join forces with Team Blake and Team Kelly in The Voice.
Brooks & Dunn will lend their expertise to rising stars in Team Blake on the upcoming season of NBC’s The Voice. The duo is comprised of Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn who will be Battle Round Advisers once the talents would engage each other in the Battle Rounds.
Brooks & Dunn’s Official Instagram Account tweeted about them joining the show. And, they were not shy about showing their excitement for the venture!
"This just in… We're joining #TeamBlake as Battles Advisors this season on @nbcthevoice! We’re coming for you @blakeshelton!"
Meanwhile, Team Kelly isn’t one to back down on a good challenge! Coach Kelly Clarkson employs the help of the “Miss Me More” hit singer Kelsea Ballerini as her Battle Round Adviser in the upcoming season. Ballerini was a coach for The Voice Comeback stage. And, although she already has experience in the show, she shared that being an adviser is a “totally different ballgame.”
Ballerini went candid with an interview with Extra about her experiences being an adviser and working with Clarkson at the same time.
“It’s different though doing it with [Kelly] because I feel like I’m learning from what she’s saying, so I feel like I’m being way more quiet, because I’m listening to everything she’s saying.”
Clarkson had won the previous season of The Voice with Chevel Sheperd, a 16-year-old country powerhouse. She had wowed both the coaches and the whole of America with her amazing voice and stage presence. The news about Ballerini and Brooks & Dunn being on the show dropped at the same time. Fellow coach Adam Levine has recruited Charlie Puth as his Battle Round Adviser. And, newest coach John Legend has the R&B sensation Khalid as his.
Don’t miss out on the premiere of NBC’s The Voice! It premieres on the 25th of February at 8 PM.
