The Stagecoach Music Festival that took place in Indio, California is known for having A-list artists gracing the stage. During its latest show on April 28, Keith Urban, Dwight Yoakam, and Brothers Osborne took star power to another level.
Keith was scheduled to headline the three-day music festival that night, but what concert-goers didn’t know was the surprise they had in store. Dwight Yoakam and Brothers Osborne were invited back on to the stage to join Keith, after performing earlier in the day. What ensued was an epic jam session.
Dwight, Keith, and the brothers just let loose on Dwight’s 1993 hit, “Fast As You,” a cut off Yoakam's 1993 album This Time.
Donning his signature cowboy hat and jean jacket, Yoakam's star power was apparent as soon as he took over the microphone. A mesmerizing guitar jam towards the end of the song had Yoakam spinning around and playing his guitar high in the air as Urban and John Osborne added to the musical interlude.
At the end of the performance, Keith ran to the microphone to let the audience know who they just witnessed. “Dwight ‘freakin’ Yoakam,” he announced. You go that right, Keith.
On the other hand, Urban released his latest album Graffiti U and kicks off a world tour in June.
