Hurrahs for the 2018 30A Songwriters Festival

I‘m sure all music fans are already excited about another upcoming music festival. I know it’s still summer and not a lot of people are a fan of the winter season. But, here is one thing we can all look forward to; The 2018 30A Songwriters Festival. The lineup has just been announced so here it is folks!

Set for January 12th through 15th, 2018, the event will include appearances from Emmylou Harris, Steve Earle, Patty Griffin, Lee Ann Womack, North Mississippi Allstars, Shawn Mullins, classic rock band The Zombies, Indigo Girls’ singer Emily Saliers, fronting her Murmuration Nation Band and Lady Antebellum’s Charles Kelley. It will be held on the scenic Florida coast, so gear up.

The highlights of the annual roots-music festival will feature Lee Ann Womack’s royal status to Joshua Hedley’s star turn. More than 225 performances by 175 songwriters will be showcased at over 24 venues along Florida’s Highway including Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame legends Craig Wiseman, Gretchen Peters, Jeffrey Steele and Mike Reid.

“The 30A Songwriters Festival is a unique cultural event like no other in this area. The Festival brings together nearly every South Walton community and many businesses to showcase our home as a destination not only for its beautiful beaches but also for its creative excellence, which is the purpose of the Cultural Arts Alliance,” says Cultural Arts Alliance Executive Director and Festival Co-Producer Jennifer Steele. “The Festival is critical to our mission and by far our biggest fundraiser. 100% of the Festival’s net proceeds go back into our non-profit and enable the CAA to continue to be a champion for the arts in Walton County.”

You can now avail of your Weekend passes for the festival, now available online and can also be purchased locally in South Walton at the Cultural Arts Alliance office in Santa Rosa Beach, the Foster Gallery in Grand Boulevard and at Central Square Records in Seaside. Several VIP packages are also offered to festival-goers, including four-course dinners hosted by award-winning guest chefs and featuring performances from special musical guests.

For more information on the lineup, a list of venues, weekend passes, and more information is available now at the official festival website: http://www.30asongwritersfestival.com/.
